Description
Du (meaning two in Esperanto) was the second creation in our Yakisugi Planter range.
Why make another one? Well, why not? No planter wants to be on its own, so we made ICHI an accomplice. We hand build these with the same passion and raging inspiration to make beautiful decor and art for a greener urban world.
Du is slightly shorter than ICHI, but also has a somewhat more sleek appearance with its diagonal shoulders, not necessarily better, but just different, the way our human bodies also differ.
Our planters incorporate a wig-based self-watering system, using LECA as a growing medium so that you won’t have to water plants too often.
As with all our works, Du is built with hands that want to serve the planet, using machines powered by the sun and with intentions to beautify our cities. We make them one at a time, to order, so please allow 2-5 workdays for us to build after confirming your payment.
Let’s celebrate life with art, plants & light!
